Save a full article
Goal: Capture the full content of an article as readable Notion blocks. Time: Under 30 seconds Requires: A page with an article
Option A: Instant (toolbar)
Click Article in the toolbar's Instant zone. Filed extracts the article and saves it without review. The orb confirms when done.
Use this when you don't need to edit anything before it lands in Notion.
Option B: With review (side panel)
- Click Advanced in the toolbar to open the side panel
- Click + in the content area → Article content
- The block appears with a loading skeleton while Filed extracts the article
- Edit the title if needed (Filed auto-fills it from the page)
- Add a note if you want context, it lands as a 📝 callout at the top of the Notion page
- Click Save
What lands in Notion
- Article title as the page title
- Full article body as Notion blocks: headings, paragraphs, lists, code, tables, images, video embeds
- Your note as a 📝 callout (if added)
- Source URL and cover image
- Type: Article
Troubleshooting
Content is missing or incomplete: The page may be JavaScript-rendered, paywalled, or use an unusual layout. Filed captures only what the browser can see. Try URL mode and read via the saved link.
Article was truncated: Notion has a 1,000-block limit per page. Very long articles hit this limit.
