Set up domain rules

Goal: Make Filed automatically select a specific workflow whenever you visit a site. Time: 30 seconds Requires: Pro plan · At least one custom workflow

Step 1: Open domain rules settings

Open Filed settings (gear icon in the toolbar's utility zone) → Capture → Domain rules.

Step 2: Add a rule

Enter the domain (e.g. github.com) in the Domain field. Select the workflow to use for that domain. Click Add rule.

Note: Rules apply to the full domain including subdomains. A rule for medium.com also applies to user.medium.com.

Step 3: Test it

Navigate to the domain you just added a rule for. Open the toolbar or side panel, your workflow should already be selected, without touching the picker.

Managing rules

From the same settings section: view all active rules, edit them to point to a different workflow, or delete rules you no longer need.
